Refunds & Exchange Policy
We at the Highland Hiker would like your visit to our web site to be a pleasant one. If you have any questions or concerns, please drop us a line. After your purchase arrives, please check it over to ensure your satisfaction. If you have any concerns or issues, please contact us prior to returning the item(s) to us so we can work with you to find the best solution to the problem. We will also issue an RA that you will need to clearly write on the outside of the package, prior to return shipment.
From the date of purchase, we allow 15 days for items to be returned to us to be eligible for a refund. After 15 days, and up to a maximum of 30 days, the merchandise is only eligible to be returned for store credit or an exchange.
To help ensure the fastest processing of your return or exchange, it is suggested that you ship the item back to us within 10 days of receiving it. Upon receipt of your exchange or return, we will promptly process the agreed upon solution(s). Generally, we do not refund shipping costs unless it is due to an error on our part. Shipping refunds will be processed on a case by case basis after the product(s) has been returned and been inspected by Highland Hiker.
We strive to ensure the product description & images on our web site accurately describe our products. However, due to variances in manufacturer sizing, we can not guarantee an exact fit of an item purchased.
Highland Hiker has a few simple requirements for returns:
- Return must arrive in our offices within 30 days of purchase.
- Product must be in new, unused condition with the original packaging and accessories in the packing.
- You may try on items for size & fit, but may not return them after a night on the town.
- Prior to returning an item(s), please call us for an RA and print the RA on the outside of the returned package.
Refunded Returns: Upon receipt of the item(s) being returned, items will be inspected. Your refund will be processed within 2 business days. Please allow up to 10 business days for receipt of your refund, dependant upon the method of payment used. All refunds will be returned in the same form of payment as was used for the purchase.
Item Exchanges: Exchanges for the same item will be granted. If by chance the requested item for exchange is not available, we will offer a comparable substitute. Where a substitute is not available, you will be provided with store credit for the Highland Hiker Online Store.
Special Order Returns: Items that are clearly marked “Special Order” in the item description are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
